Hast-o-Neest Institute of Traditional Studies & Arts is a space to engage with, research and explore traditional knowledge, practice and experience in today’s wider context in an atmosphere encouraging reflection and discussion.

Hast-o-Neest provides the space to interact the classical/traditional with the contemporary within the parameters of the traditional - to create an environment of learning where students living in this day are able to benefit from a knowledge that is rooted in a 'tradition' with access to such knowledge and its Masters. The word ‘tradition’ is used in a particular sense where ‘tradition’ signifies a sacred ‘world-view’ and cultures whose foundations are based on Principles and Truths of Divine Origin - which are then applied over time to various domains from metaphysics and cosmology to art and science.

At Hast-o-Neest the structure is informal learning with provision of formal learning in languages, arts, architecture, philosophy and metaphysics. A team of friends - scholars, professionals and artists of Pakistan - set up, manage and formulate academic programs under the Board of Trustees of Baytunur.
